For fifteen years the residents of Androscoggin County in Main lived under a cloud of fear of something that was lurking in the dark. Or at least they were, until one day the body of a strange creature was discovered by the side of Maine Route 4. The pictures taken that day would be seen around the world and become the subject of speculation and DNA analysis. Would this be a creature of the unknown? Or something more mundane?
